Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, stripping cable, and terminating outlets and switches.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and adhere to strict OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Use hand and power tools (drills, saws, multimeters) safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Assist in equipment inventory and material preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not strictly required.
- No prior electrical experience necessary; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a clean background check.
