Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (lumber, concrete, tools) to and from the work site.
- General Labor: Perform various manual labor tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, and maintaining a safe and organized job site.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools (e.g., jackhammers, brooms, hand trucks) under supervision.
- Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with tasks as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Measurement: Assist in basic measurements and material cutting under the guidance of a supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended durations.
