Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan layouts and ensure accurate installations.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to clients, explaining technical issues clearly and ensuring satisfaction with the work performed.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Virginia.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional electrical experience.
- Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical faults, and using electrical testing equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
