Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations and repairs.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency repair requests during the night shift.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in New York State.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Tools: Must possess a reliable set of personal hand tools and a valid driver's license.
- Skills: Proficiency in using multimeters, voltage testers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Physical: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
