Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and longevity.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trade professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various environments (heat, cold, heights).
- Basic math skills and the ability to read technical instructions.
- Willingness to obtain required state electrical licensure.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
