Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently under pressure.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and construction crews.
- Keep work sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (C-10) in California.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and climbing ladders.
- Experience with modern electrical systems and smart home technology is a plus.
