Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure safety.
- Respond to emergency service calls and complete repairs efficiently.
- Use hand and power tools correctly, including drills, saws, and multimeters.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Willingness to obtain required state electrical licensing.
