Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures according to local codes and safety standards.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to plan and execute electrical work.
- Client Communication: Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Tools & Safety: Utilize a variety of hand and power tools while strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- System Upgrades: Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems to meet modern energy efficiency standards.
- Journeyman Support: Collaborate with senior electricians to ensure high-quality workmanship on all projects.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to learn the trade; no prior experience is necessary for entry-level positions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
