Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan wiring layouts and ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Educate clients and team members on electrical safety practices and system usage.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician license (State of Maryland) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on-site at client locations.
