Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Assist senior electricians with complex wiring tasks and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Respond to emergency electrical repairs during assigned night shift hours.
- Document all work completed and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory is a plus, but not required.
- Strong willingness to learn and obtain necessary certifications on the job.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.
- Good manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a night shift team.
