Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or compliance issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (elevated, cramped spaces).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
