Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs according to NEC (National Electrical Code) and local safety standards.
- Assist senior electricians with complex wiring tasks, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain and repair existing electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Interact professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service regarding project updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to learn and obtain required state certifications. (On-the-job training provided).
