Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults in residential and commercial settings.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician in the State of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and local building codes.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on ladders.
