Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment to prevent downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Apprentice license accepted for qualified candidates).
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
