Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material preparation and site setup
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at construction sites
- Operate hand tools (shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows) and light equipment
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload materials and transport equipment as needed
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record (preferred)
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
