Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, digging, and site preparation
- Operate basic equipment like shovels, wheelbarrows, and power tools under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by debris removal and equipment setup
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Participate in daily team briefings and task assignments
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification training provided upon hire
