Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using manual methods and basic tools
- Support skilled trades with material handling, digging, and cleanup tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to comply with safety standards
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety protocols
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment as directed
- Participate in daily safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required—training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid government-issued photo ID and authorization to work in the US
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Reliable transportation to job sites within NYC
- Basic communication skills in English
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
