Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Participate in team-based projects to meet construction deadlines and quality standards
- Report maintenance needs for tools and equipment to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- No prior construction experience necessary – training provided
