Responsibilities
- Perform general site preparation, including digging, trenching, and leveling the ground.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and painting support.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under close supervision.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as hauling debris, sanding, and cleaning surfaces.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from Site Supervisors and Foremen.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for this entry-level position.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure are a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from the construction site.
- A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset.
