Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Assist senior electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Technical school certification in electrical technology preferred
- Valid Texas Electrician Apprentice License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Texas weather
