Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing wiring, lighting systems, and electrical components
- Learn to interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Perform safety inspections and equipment maintenance
- Follow OSHA and California Electrical Code standards
- Participate in on-the-job training and skill development
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to complete 4-year apprenticeship program
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
