Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and maintain a clean job site.
- Perform basic cleaning and site maintenance duties.
- Learn to read blueprints and follow wiring diagrams under the supervision of senior staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school background is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for travel to job sites).
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating material needs, and interpreting measurements.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
