Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary – we train from scratch
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout San Jose Bay Area
