Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsPerform basic wiring, conduit bending, and circuit troubleshooting
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and National Electrical Code standards
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards
- Document work orders and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in 24/7 emergency call rotation (after training)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for load calculations and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte
- Willingness to obtain NC electrical trainee license (company-sponsored)
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn technical skills
