Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, material handling, and debris removal at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, framing, concrete work, and finishing tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Prior experience with scaffolding, trenching, or concrete work preferred
