Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material preparation and installation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans accurately
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor in various weather conditions
- Participate in daily safety briefings and site inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed
- Must possess valid Texas driver's license
