Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and clients on project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades for optimal performance
- Lead junior electricians and provide on-site guidance
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee electrician license (journeyman or master)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, circuit design, and load calculations
- Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Strong diagnostic skills with troubleshooting equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
