Job Overview
As an Electrician at Apex Electric, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service. You will work alongside experienced professionals on various projects ranging from residential upgrades to commercial installations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections to ensure electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and any electrical issues.
- Use hand and power tools, including conduit benders, multimeters, and wire strippers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for calculating electrical loads and measurements.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and complete any required apprenticeship training.
