Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic controls in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate time and material logs.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Arizona required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and using hand/power tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on safety reporting.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend work as project demands require.
