Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future failures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members regarding job progress and safety.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and knowledge of wiring standards.
- Tools: Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites (if applicable).
- Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
