What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on residential and commercial properties.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layout and circuitry.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper tool organization and safety gear usage.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior apprentices when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics, floor plans, and blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of power tools, multimeters, voltage testers, and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina required for field work.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
