Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in commercial and residential settings.
- Lead apprentices and junior electricians, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Prepare and submit accurate time and material reports for project billing.
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician License in the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina.
