Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Dig trenches, foundations, and holes for the installation of pipes, wires, or structures.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including mixing concrete and operating basic machinery.
- Perform site cleanup, including removing debris, trash, and waste materials.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to coordinate tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Willingness to work night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety is preferred but not required.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
