Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and material handling under night shift conditions
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and jackhammers with certification
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing operations with strict quality control
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance protocols
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and incident reporting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex construction timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience or relevant trade certification
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Experience with blueprint reading and construction terminology
- Strong problem-solving skills for night-shift-specific challenges
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and overtime shifts
