Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Safely operate hand tools and power equipment (jackhammers, saws, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and ensure proper storage
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout and installation tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job site throughout shift
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Complete daily progress reports and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety detail
