Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and trenching tasks using hand/power tools
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper waste disposal
- Operate machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Participate in emergency response drills and site security procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme temperatures
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
