Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Safely operate basic tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, power tools)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform physical tasks in various weather conditions during night shift hours
- Assist with erecting scaffolding, spreading concrete, and other labor-intensive duties
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade County
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic understanding of English for safety communication
- No construction experience required – training provided
