Responsibilities
- Execute heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks during night shifts
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and construction equipment safely
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise material placement
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with complex installations
- Perform trenching, shoring, and excavation support as required
- Participate in daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10/30 certification required (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish fluency a plus)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
