Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, jackhammers, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow safety protocols
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 75 lbs)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Assist with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily inspection reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability for night shifts and occasional weekends
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
