Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and bulldozers (certification preferred).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, masonry, or concrete pouring.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and site plans to understand project requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of daily tasks and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks using hand tools and dollies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
