Responsibilities
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Prepare and clean job sites daily, removing debris and hazards
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete, demolition, and framing tasks
- Maintain safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Support excavation, trenching, and backfilling operations
- Adhere to project timelines and collaborate with night shift teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Valid OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Boston
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project demands
