Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earth-moving operations with precision equipment
- Install and remove construction site safety barriers and signage
- Mix concrete, operate jackhammers, and assist with specialized machinery
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job site inventory
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal between work phases
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain all safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation and tool management
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme temperatures
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency (saws, drills, etc.)
- Ability to read construction blueprints and follow verbal instructions
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime during critical phases
