Responsibilities
- Excavate, prepare, and grade construction sites using hand/power tools
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Erect scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate light machinery (compactors, jackhammers) with proper training
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and waste management protocols
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and project blueprints
- Collaborate with crew leads on task prioritization and quality control
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme temperatures
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic with commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
