Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial pipe installations and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as leak detection, unclogging drains, and fixture replacement under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and service needs clearly.
- Learn to use various plumbing tools, including pipe wrenches, soldering torches, and video inspection cameras.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs) and work in tight, uncomfortable spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- A strong desire to learn and a commitment to punctuality.
