Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material preparation, cutting, and installation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Maintain organized job site safety protocols and equipment staging
- Support concrete work including pouring, finishing, and form setup
- Assist with site layout measurements and marking tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
