Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools (shovels, saws, levels) and equipment safely
- Follow construction plans and maintain organized work areas
- Perform site inspections and report safety hazards immediately
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
