Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas as directed by site supervisors.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including hauling, cleaning debris, and setting up temporary workspaces.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (such as wheelbarrows, forklifts, or jackhammers) under supervision.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations.
- Assist Tradesmen: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople on job sites.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing/walking on various surfaces.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a commitment to showing up on time and completing tasks thoroughly.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Safety Mindset: Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Experience: Prior construction or labor experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for the right candidates.
