Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including debris removal and proper tool storage.
- General Labor: Perform basic site preparation, including digging, trenching, and concrete setting.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
