Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment functionality
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to ensure precise project execution
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Support material handling and inventory management at job sites
- Complete daily progress reports and collaborate with supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification preferred (training provided)
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and in diverse weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
