Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems according to local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts and wiring connections.
- Perform thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain project requirements and progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the state of Illinois.
- Proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
